Wish you were here

I dig my toes into the sand,
feel its warmth with the cold breeze.
I see the waves rising above me, high
sending a chill down through my spine.

The sky resembles a backlit canopy,
with holes punched in,
I signal those beyond the holes
with my words etched into the sand.
Wish you were here.

The coming wind roars loud,
I still lean against it,
pretend that I'm weightless,
its this moment, I'm happy
and wish you were here.

On my board over the waves,
Maybe I should take care,
My hands in the air,
signalling, Wish you were here.

I'm the king here,
not a dead man in his shroud.
The world elsewhere is a mess,
where I'm lost in a crowd.
I'm happy you're not there.

All out of love

All out of love Posted by Picasa

One of the snaps I took at the "Museum of Stained Glass". Pretty much reflects my desire ;-P
As said, A picture is worth a thousand words. Just 29 letters but 29 million meanings/ feelings.

Statements like these get me frustrated, whether they get the fans frustrated or not is another thing.
Quote from an article on Rediff.com :-

A frustrated Narain Karthikeyan rued his failure to make use of a "good start" at the British Grand Prix where he was done in by an electrical failure on the 11th lap.
"I had a very good start and overtook [Felipe] Massa but unfortunately he was able to repass me at Becketts," Karthikeyan said after the race which was won by Juan Pablo Montoya.
"However, I had a very good pace and I managed to run with the pack of Massa, [David] Coulthard and [Nick] Heidfeld. Unfortunately, shortly after, the car stopped apparently because of an electrical failure," the Jordan driver said.
Massa finished the race at the 10th place, Heidfeld 12th and Coulthard 13th.
"It is very frustrating, as it is the second weekend in a row that I am experiencing some problems with my car, although I managed to finish the race in Magny-Cours. It is really a pity as I was going very well all weekend."
Adrian Burgess, Jordan's Sporting Director, said though the Indian is doing a "fantastic" job, luck is not on his side.
"Poor Narain, again he did not have any luck in the race. As always, he was doing a fantastic job keeping up with Massa, until we had an electrical failure, which shut the engine off and forced him to retire the car." .................

Poor Narain.. seems to be running out of luck. It cannot be an excuse for long... the day isn't far when he'll run out of excuses too :-P

I haven't seen anyone get so many chances and still not perform. I understand that the JORDAN is not a great car on the tracks and is no comparison to Ferrari and McLaren but not finishing the race is simply untolerable. The Indy GP was a disaster he was almost 2 laps behind when Schumacher crossed the checkered flag. At least he pocketed a few points.

Jordan should not let their heels cool off, but fix the problems with the cooling systems and get the new, heavily-revised EJ15B on tracks asap.

Running on Bridgestone tires is not going to help anymore ;-P
